Paul Gessler- Executive Producer
Paul is the Executive Producer of 1812 Media, where he helps craft video narratives using his story-building and writing skills that have earned accolades in his 11 years as a television news reporter.
Paul worked for local television stations in Baltimore, Fort Myers (Fla.), and Huntington (W.Va.). In his TV news career, he earned 9 Emmys, 11 Associated Press Awards, 2 Edward R. Murrow Awards, and was recognized nationally as an NPPA Reporter of the Year finalist in 2016’s Best of Photojournalism contest.
A native of Shenandoah Junction, W.Va., Paul now lives in Baltimore with his wife, Kristin, and dog, CiCi.
Jed Gamber – Director of Photography
Jed is the Director of Photography of 1812 Media. He is a master of gathering moments behind the lens while framing beautiful images that have given him recognition at the national level.
Jed’s storytelling skills have amounted to 17 Emmys for videography, editing and producing. He’s also won an Edward R. Murrow award, been named a Regional Photographer of the Year twice by the Associated Press and twice by the National Press Photographers Association while also being named a Runner-Up for television news photography’s highest honor: the NPPA Ernie Crisp Photographer of the Year.
Jed is born and raised in the Baltimore area and currently lives in Towson with his wife, Lauren, two sons, Lucas and Eli, and pup, Dexter.
